Day 1: Senaru Village – Senaru Crater Rim (2,641 m)
Your adventure begins with registration at the Mount Rinjani National Park Office in Senaru Village. After completing the registration process, you will meet your trekking guide and porter team for a comprehensive briefing about the route, safety procedures, and trekking schedule.
The trek starts from the Senaru Gate at an elevation of approximately 601 meters above sea level. The trail passes through dense tropical rainforest, one of the richest ecosystems in Lombok, where trekkers may encounter black monkeys, exotic birds, and diverse native flora.
After several hours of trekking, you will stop at Pos 2 for a freshly prepared lunch before continuing the ascent through Pos 3 and Cemara Lima.
